Biography
A relative of the seventeenth century Dutch master Rembrandt, she cultivated an interest in the works of art history early in life. She has carried this interest into her work, using historical references and connections that span time and place in her paintings and other work. In 2008 Debbie.lee Miszaniec completed her BFA in painting, with distinction, at the Alberta College of Art + Design. She has since been actively showing her work and involved with various arts organizations such as Artpoint Gallery & Studios Society, The New Gallery and fillingstation Magazine. |
